ETHEREAL ESSENCE 01 PTE. LTD. was born from a vision to revolutionize the home design industry in Singapore and beyond. Our journey began when a team of experienced renovation specialists, architectural designers, and software engineers recognized a critical gap in the market: the need for professional-grade design software that was both powerful and accessible.

In 2021, our founders—veterans from Singapore's leading renovation firms—joined forces with talented 3D designers who had spent years creating visualizations for high-end renovation projects. Together, they combined their collective expertise in construction, interior design, architecture, and software development to create HomeCraft Studio, a comprehensive design solution that would empower both professionals and homeowners.

HomeCraft Studio is developed by a diverse team of 35+ specialists who bring decades of combined experience in the renovation, design, and technology sectors:

LEADERSHIP TEAM

Tan Wei Ming, CEO & Co-Founder
With 15 years of experience managing large-scale renovation projects across Singapore, Wei Ming brings invaluable insights into the practical challenges of turning designs into reality. Before co-founding 42 Studio, he served as Operations Director at one of Singapore's premier renovation firms, overseeing more than 500 successful residential and commercial projects.

Lim Siew Ling, CTO & Co-Founder
A computer science graduate from NUS with a master's degree in software engineering, Siew Ling has led development teams at several technology companies. Her passion for creating user-friendly software with powerful capabilities drives HomeCraft Studio's technical direction and innovation roadmap.

Ahmad Farid, Chief Design Officer & Co-Founder
Farid brings 12 years of experience as a 3D visualization specialist and interior designer. His work has been featured in multiple design publications, and his understanding of both aesthetic principles and technical requirements ensures HomeCraft Studio delivers beautiful results without sacrificing functionality.

Design Team
Our design team consists of 14 professionals with backgrounds in interior design, architecture, and 3D modeling. Many have transitioned from hands-on renovation work to software development, bringing their practical knowledge into every feature. This team ensures that HomeCraft Studio addresses real-world design challenges and produces realistic, buildable results.

Development Team
Our 16-person software development team combines expertise in user interface design, 3D rendering, computational geometry, and cloud services. Several team members previously worked at leading game development studios and architectural software companies, bringing advanced graphics and simulation capabilities to our platform.


Customer Success Team
Led by professionals with extensive experience in both customer service and interior design, our customer success team provides technical support with genuine understanding of design challenges. Each team member undergoes comprehensive training in both the software and design principles to ensure they can provide meaningful assistance.
